I saw Dwight Yoakam last night at the Palladium - I completely agree with Richard's review. The acoustics were horrible, as if someone had turned up the treble - jangly, tinny, loud.

Saw Manhatten Transfer there last night. Not impressed at all with the acoustics - overly bright (even sitting dead center, 7th row), lots of delayed bounce from way too many flat and hard surfaces.

The interior looks like a bad idea for someones wedding cake decoration.

Was almost impossible to find the parking garage - no signs anywhere as we approached the building the first time, but they finally got them out about 1/2 hour before the show started (our second trip past the garage entrance).

The Palladium is an amazing performance space with a very grand feel. The Tarkington Theatre and the Studio Theatre are equally impressive for smaller, more intimate performances.
