You people are so worried about personal social issues instead of what is important and best for the country.
The cost of gasoline is higher, which makes the price of everything else go up.
Insurance is higher.
Utilities are higher than ever (Lights, Water, Natural Gas, Phone, Cable, Alarm, Internet, etc...)
The cost of food and drink is higher than ever before
Where I live, the sales tax is 9% at restaurants (7% for other businesses)
Where I live, Property Tax for a Commercial property is three times higher than a residential property
I could go on, but you get the idea.
In these conditions, who would want to own a business, who can afford it ?
So many are businesses are failing or have already failed.
It should be the governments place to create an environment conducive to running successful businesses. Our current environment is not.
There are SO MANY unemployed people in the USA. There are MORE unemployed people NOW than there were four years ago. Obama says he has created 5 million jobs. He needed 7.2 million to keep up with population growth. This doesn't include the 10 million jobs he lost. This doesn't include the 50 million illegal aliens taking our jobs. This doesn't include under-employed (example: people who once made 100k/year, now making min. wage). This doesn't include the self-employed that just don't have as much work as they once did. Obama is NOT an expert at creating jobs, I think this is pretty obvious.
Wait until January when Obamacare kicks into full gear, it will trigger a wave of layoffs larger than ever before. In addition to that, Obamacare will be the straw that breaks the camel's back for many businesses. Look for many businesses to fail in 2013. Obamacare will indirectly create more unemployed people in this manner.
Obama is an expert at bringing the middle class to the brink of poverty.
Obama is an expert at pushing the national debt to obscene levels.
To the morons that voted for Obama: What have you idiots done ?
Four more years ? Ha, I don't think we're going to last that long.
There certainly won't be much left of the middle class by then.
There will be a lot less rich people by then too.
Until then, I'll sit at home and drink my beer, because I don't think I can afford one at a bar.
