Don't feel defeated! You are doing SO MUCH MORE than the person who does nothing! Like you, I am still persevering to become more capable for the long haul. The "others" promise me in their kind encouraging voices... it will come.
You should come ride with me one day and I could come ride with you one day and you could write a parallel article: City Girl, Country Girl ; )
yayyyy I'm so excited for you! Sounds like you have the perfect friend to encourage your bike adventure!
Keep up the good work! I bought my bike last Spring and have loved every minute riding. I don't live in the city so I'm not commuting as you are but a kindred spirit in the learning process. I have a friend, I call him KING OF BIKE, and he is very helpful and encouraging! Willing to answer my millions of questions too. Hope you have such a person too!
Re: “Changing habits”
yayyyy for you! Good luck with the stop smoking effort, I am horribly addicted to Djarum cloves ; ( no inhaling tho, but still...
I did my first half century ride a few weeks ago, piece of cake! What you pack on the ride makes a big difference, choose wisely and happy trails!
