Awesome Article. I think you nailed it on the head with the line "This was a good step in the process.". I would love to see more shows like this. I always was a huge fan that it was all ages. My favorite moment of The Dead Hearts set was seeing a little girl who at most was 6 dancing with her mom. And then a daddy daughter dance with a teen and her father. I know concerts arent always children friendly but with everyone respecting one another this night it really worked.
Great article and as always, awesome shots Lora.
Awesome job Zac!!!
Good thing this one is not so hard to make that connection. A black kid at night is mighty mighty scary....if this is not profiling what is?
Very well written and true. I work in the federal building right near the War Memorial (Which was vandalized only a short while ago) and its obvious that crime is not cleaned up but merely ignored. Drug deals take place in the parks and the afflicted homeless population flourishes on the side streets and ally ways right beside the lovely Scottish Rite Cathedral. On any afternoon when leaving my office to go to my car which I park at the Scottish rite lot I see 5 to 6 homeless folks either smoking crack, huffing paint or drinking and since its not on the main street IPD doesn't give a shit. Turning a blind eye seems to be their choice of recourse and its getting old.
Not cool about Arkansas (my hometown). Strangely enough the GOD sign is about a mile from where I grew up, lol.
Awesome coverage!!
Re: “Punk Rock Night”
