I am curious as to why people don't see that visual artists, interior designers and architects are all creative professionals. Why isn't that connection obvious?
Hey, Steve. I agree that seeing Robert Indiana's LOVE imagery replicated over and over again grows tiring, but I might get you to like it more...although loving it may be another thing. The LOVE design was first produced in 1964 for the Museum of Modern Art's Christmas card -- right during the Vietnam War protests. From what I was told in art history classes, the message is ironic and a play on the "Make Love, Not War" phrase. Maybe you can make up to Robert Indiana now.
