I'm going on record here as saying this is the most confusing story of the week, if not year, for me and many of you. My apologies.
While I'm certain that you will be able to buy alcohol at stores that are open tomorrow - Jan. 1, 2011, I can't for the life of me figure out when this became possible. Because of the holiday, I can't reach any "official" sources and my unofficial sources (friends, family, google, liquour store clerks and owners, nuvo staffers) are giving me conflicting info.
Here's what I do know: at some point in the past year or two, the law changed and you could sell alcohol on New Year's Day in Indiana. For a million years before that, you couldn't. Hopefully that suffices for the weekend. Cheers!
Thanks for asking, Paopao. We've requested some additional images and hope to have them up by the end of the day; but didn't want to hold up the review any longer -- Laura McPhee, Web Editor
For those who read the original post, my apologies for the auto correct feature which replaced "repeal" with "appeal." (Yikes).
Thanks for sharing all these great memories, Nora! I'm glad you've been there to save & share them!
