Dominator Doppelbock Tapping

Thu., Feb. 16

A sweeter version of the traditional bocks brewed by Munich’s Paulaner monks, Doppelbock, or strong lager, was “liquid bread” for fasting brothers during Lent. Sun King’s Dominator Doppelbock is a fresh take on the centuries-old tradition. Dominator is a rich and malty German-style lager that exudes the aromas of brown sugar and molasses and hints of gingerbread and raisins with a crisp finish.

A Bronze Medal winner at the 2010 World Beer Cup and 2010 Great American Beer Festival in the German-Style Doppelbock or Eisbock Category, Dominator Doppelbock is an 8% ABV, 23 IBU beer. Free, 21+.
