Jazz pianist and composer Dave Hepler is known throughout the Midwest and he’s certainly no stranger to the JCC. Dave returns to the Arthur M. Glick JCC for an afternoon concert accompanied by bassist Frank Smith. On Sunday, February 12 at 2 pm, the musicians will play renditions of some all-time favorites, including Cole Porter, Duke Ellington and John Lennon, as well as original compositions. In particular, Dave’s interpretation of Lennon’s “Imagine” is one of his signature pieces. $10 general public, $6 JCC membership

The Butler Chorale, led by conductor Eric Stark, presents repertoire from its upcoming concert tour to Florida. Works performed include compositions by Puccini, Berlioz, Hindemith, Bach and a selection of spirituals and works from the Broadway stage.

This exhibition features more than 80 of the most outstanding works of art drawn from The Eugene and Clare Thaw Collection of North American Indian art, now held at the Fenimore Art Museum. While the works of art are enormously diversified in type, style, and use of materials, they evince a consistent appreciation of the power of the natural world in human affairs and the universal appeal of beautifully realized works of art.
