Yeah, this confirms what I was already thinking. Bummer. I do think an independent radio station or college station could help. Think Chicago Independent Radio Project (www.chirpradio.org) which highlights local chicago bands. In the meantime, congrats to the people who like jam bands.
Nice to hear ya say it Wayne...long time no see, stop by The Trap sometime and I'll buy ya a brew...
i <3 the trap!! the music is not always my thing but i see a lot of great stuff and the people are always great

Check him out on Halloween night (wed 10/31) at The Melody Inn!:
Hells Yeah Mike.
Saw him at a bar in Chicago back in the day, very cool.
Come to the Mel early for The Hillbilly Happy Hour with The Punkin Holler Boys on this same night! 7pm

Junk Box Mike
I'm not sure if we want to know what the melody inn smells like! :)
Thanks, Chubby!! And a wonderful swinging drummer named Ron "RC" Coffman, too!!
Been a big fan for years. The first time I saw her she was singing and playing mandolin if a band with Frank Dean, I think the band was called Blue De Ville. Andra dominates any stage she's on. She also has one of Indy's most tasty guitar players in Terry Glass.
