Roger. Maybe if you actually VISITED Washington and Rural in lieu of Google mapping it, you would see that it is a thriving pocket with a strong neighborhood base. That is why this is happening there - and not 'closer' as you suggested. I hope that you come out to see this first hand.

keeps growing uncontrollably. He is right,The nature of bureaucracy
is to grow itself till it becomes bloated and then erupts
like in Greece, Italy and other countries.

Krull is konfused.
'the right to bear arms' is a right. You don't have to register
a right, which Krull wants us to do. It is another misdirection
from real issues like mental health and social issues.
For public safety, how about registering people with any
metal illness and make it public so we know who is living
next door to us. Want to take on the APA Krull? Try it.

I just google mapped the area, it is pretty much a
no man's land. Shuttered buildings, empty lots. And it
seems to far east. Perhaps developing a block that is closer to
downtown and then going east might be better. The area
at S. Arsenal and E. Washington street for example has
some activity already, Zone's closet, a laundry mat, Auto zone,
and could be a micro center of development, then push East.
There is hardly anything at Rural/Washington St.
it is an interesting idea tho, and I like bottom up development,
but local folks don't have the capital to make big things work.

Mr. Simmons: I am working on an answer with regards to numbers. The custody determination of an individual is at times decided by an enforcement agent and other times by an Immigration Judge. The statistical information shared via Mr. Guerrero are enforcement statistics.

I wonder why polls that Bloomberg paid for or made million dollar donations to came out the way the Bloomberg and his mayors support? Duh! The polls never came out the way everyone I know feels! With all the corruption with this administration from Gun Walker, Benghazi, IRS, Media and Voting fraud. I would bet that the polls go right along with the rest of the Illinois Mafioso bunch.

Funny, I've never come across this 90% study or poll...Let us do a new poll with just a few more questions. Some polling was done right after Newtown, which leads to skewed opinions.
After all we all want safer cars, I'm sure you could poll that at over 90%...but when you then tell them it would add 20% to the price of a new car, people will revisit their opinions.

Nice try Krull. What the Senators voted against wasn't a "a proposal calling for universal background checks to make sure that convicted criminals and people with mental illness couldn't buy deadly firearms." That proposal would have done nothing to prevent criminals from getting guns. It would only have handicapped law abiding citizens efforts to transfer guns. What the Senators ACTUALLY voted against was opening the gates and rolling in the Trojan Horse. The ONLY way to enforce universal background checks is if you know who owns every gun (else how would you know one had been transferred?). This ABSOLUTELY necessitates a national gun registry. THAT is what the Senators were voting against.
As for this comment "Almost all of the 45 U.S. senators who voted to do the NRA's bidding saw an immediate plunge in their public approval ratings.". Well let me give you another credible statistic, almost 100% of readers believe you are lying.

The neighborhood is Englewood, Roger. It's a cool little, tight-knit neighborhood. You should make it out for the event to see the work being done. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
