HEC partners with organizations across the state to discuss strategy and tactics that will improve the environment and the health of Hoosiers for the upcoming 2013 legislative session starting in January. This year's event brings a new format with interactive legislative panel discussions. Our overarching theme this year will be climate change and how it fits into HEC's priority issues. We'll discuss the summer's drought and its effect on recreation, agriculture, quality of life, water resources and economic development.
Come join key note speaker Paul Douglas, a nationally-known meteorologist as he helps rally and educate attendees on policies to advance public transit, green energy, sustainable agriculture, and protection of our rivers and lakes. Cost of admission is $20 for adults $10 for students.
