2014 Heartland Film Festival winners announced

As usual, Heartland Film Festival, now in its 23rd year, held its awards ceremony during opening weekend, giving you, the home viewer, plenty of time to see the jury's favorites. Winners were announced Oct. 18 at the Old National Centre, and Heartland continues daily screenings through Oct. 25.

Here's the rundown with trailers:

$45,000 Grand Prize for Best Narrative Feature
