Butler University’s Celebration of Diversity Distinguished Lecture Series will begin its 25th year with “Truth or Consequences,” an address by LGBT activist and Iraq war veteran Lt. Dan Choi at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, in Clowes Memorial Hall. Admission is free, but tickets are required. They are available in person at the Clowes Hall box office or online through Ticketmaster (www.ticketmaster.com; Ticketmaster fees apply), beginning Sept. 10. For information only, call the Clowes Hall box office, (317) 940-6444. This year’s series – “Distinguished Speakers, Distinctive Voices” – also will feature anti-apartheid and human rights activist Allan Boesak, at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, in the Atherton Union Reilly Room. The event is free and open to the public without tickets.
