Located just off the Monon in a building that long housed fitness studios and other offices, 10-01 attempts to recapture the past by offering comfort food with what they call "unique culinary twist," including reinterpretations of burgers (the "outside-in" sandwich), meatloaf, clam fritters and fries (made with sweet potatoes, seasoned in cinnamon sugar). But while the kitchen makes an admirable attempt to source elements locally, food is often woefully under-seasoned and ill-conceived (notably that messy inside-out burger), making 10-01 better for people watching and drinks than anything else.
