1. Lily and Madeleine

Feb. 26, 8:30 p.m. Lily and Madeleine drop their new album Keep It Together this week, and follow it up with record shop in-stores at LUNA Music (Friday) and Landlocked (Sunday) plus this show at Old National Centre.

Feb. 26-28, times vary. The late Harper Lee's classic novel brought to stage. Going to borrow from Lisa Gauthier Mitchison's review: "The theater chose to revisit one of the most-challenged stories of the American fiction canon with the release of Harper Lee’s equally controversial Go Set a Watchman last summer. However, the topics that Lee explored 56 years ago—racism and human dynamics—remain relevant today."

4. Ron White

Feb. 26, 7:30 p.m. Looking for clean comedy? This isn't the place. Ron White in his own words: "Multi-Platinum Award-Winning, Scotch-Drinking, Cigar-Smoking, Top-Selling Touring Comedian."

5. Pavel & Direct Contact CD Release Party

Feb. 27, 7:30, 9:30 p.m. You've got two chances to see them perform in celebration of new CD The Other Side. Visual artist Andre Parnell, who created the album art for The Other Side, will be painting live portraits of the band during both sets, which will be auctioned off after each show.

The Jazz Kitchen, 5377 N. College Ave, $12 for 7:30 p.m., $10 for 9:30 p.m.

6. 2nd Annual Winter-Warm Up

Feb. 27, 9 a.m. It could snow. It could be 70 degrees. Whatever Indy weather decides it wants to do, get out and support the Indianapolis Cultural Trail. This four or eight mile run/walk is held entirely on the Cultural Trail with all proceeds going toward keeping the trail clear of snow and ice throughout the winter months.

7. Dumpstaphunk, Audiodacity

Feb. 27, 9 p.m. New Orleans funk collective Dumpstaphunk got called the “best funk band from New Orleans right now” by the New York Times. And that ain’t nothin’! This show will be filthy.

8. Indie Arts & Vintage Marketplace Festival

Feb. 27, 10 a.m. Support local vendors, food trucks and music at this all day event open to all ages. Hamilton County 4H Fairgrounds, 2003 Pleasant St. (Noblesville), $5

9. Jason Aaron Coons

Feb. 27, 9 p.m. Hailing originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Coons moved to Indiana as high-schooler, graduated from Noblesville, and then took his talents to Bloomington where he studied music at Indiana. Coons on his second album Ride “This record is my interpretation of my own awakening. I’m 29 years old, and I’m not a kid, anymore. The record really focuses on that transition from that general, youthful happiness we all feel when we’re first out on our own to that sinking realization that life is full of challenges.

10. Silk Road Ensemble

Feb. 27, 8 p.m. Embark on a global musical journey with the Silk Road Ensemble formed under the artistic direction of cellist Yo-Yo Ma. Representing a global array of cultures, Silk Road musicians co-create art, performances and ideas.

Palladium at the Center for the Performing Arts, 355 City Center Dr., prices vary

[Editor's Note: Museum by Moonlight takes the cake as the top event this week, but alas, it sold out like two parsecs ago and therefore is not included in this list]
