Restaurants: Brewery/Brew Pub
We are serving some of Indy’s best handcrafted brews and food, a full bar with 26 taps and local entertainment. Our scratch kitchen includes herbs and veggies from the Blind Owl Garden along with honey harvested right in our back yard. The seasonal outdoor patio and playground consists of cozy fire pits, bocce ball courts, and corn hole. Our 100 seat banquet room can host any of your special occasion needs.
Not only does Broad Ripple Brewpub deliver some great beer, the food matches the quality, making for a great experience. Try the traditional, English-style cask ales for the real pub experience. Or maybe the Lawn Mower Pale Ale, a draft that is sure to quench your thirst during the hot summer months. After a few pints, the Drunken Tortelloni will satisfy your hunger with its five-cheese tortellini covered in spicy vodka cream sauce. Its great location by the Monon Trail means you can while away the time people-watching as they bicycle, roller-blade, saunter and walk their dogs up and down the trail.
Named after one of the most beautiful Belgian cities, Brugge pays homage to such Belgian specialties as mussels, frites, crepes and, of course, beer. Calling itself a gastropub, Brugge doesn’t offer a huge menu, but what’s on offer is choice. The frites are as good, if not better, than their old country cousins, with a variety of great dipping sauces. The mussels come cooked in a variety of tasty broths; and the beer, brewed on site, is nonpareil. Go early if you don’t want to wait for a table, because this place gets deservedly crowded — even with the expanded upstairs seating (inside and balcony).

Another project by Scott Wise (Scotty’s Brewhouse and Scotty’s Lakehouse), Thr3e Wise Men brings together a back-to-basics approach to both food and decor. The interior is mostly varnished unstained wood and concrete, with buckets of popcorn on each table and growlers available at the bar. They brew in-house, so everything off the tap is crisp, fresh, and always full of both flavor and innovation. Everything that comes out of their ovens is delicious, but pay special attention to the sandwiches and pizzas. Heads-up to those who want beer and a growler but don’t want to put on real pants: TWM delivers both food and fresh beer right to your door. Yes, heaven is a place on Earth, and it’s the radius of the Thr3e Wise Men delivery zone.
