Wabash College's Fine Arts Center is home to the school's music, speech, theater, and art departments. The center has two climate-controlled exhibition galleries and numerous studios for painting, ceramics, and photography. The theater department takes advantage of the 375-seat Ball Theater and 125-seat Experimental Theater, while the music department enjoys the 275-seat Salter Concert Hall, 110-seat Korb Classroom (with full multimedia access), and numerous seminar and practice rooms. Ball Theater and Salter Concert Hall are used for student performances, as well as productions by visiting artists.
The University of Indianapolis and Southeast Neighborhood Development (SEND) collaborated to create the Wheeler Arts Community in Historic Fountain Square. The building offers live-and-work spaces for visual artists and their families and is a venue for theater performances and visual art exhibitions, in addition to programs and courses presented by the University of Indianapolis. The 60,000-square-foot building, once a vacant factory, has been completely renovated in a contemporary style that maximizes its industrial character.
