“Tortas” is an Hispanic sandwich often quite small. The only thing small about this excellentsandwich shop is the space. From the menu to food itself, “big” is the operative word. It takes two hands (and plenty of napkins) to manage one of these creations. The foundation is baked telera, a light bun that measures six inches across, but, when stuffed, seems like it could pass for a shuffleboard puck. The telera comes packed with a variety of meats, like smoked pork and chorizo sausage, as well as cheeses and veggies. Bring an appetite.
