Proving once again that the "faithful" constantly troll the net, so they can Immediately shoot down a heretical opinion. Honestly, you NEVER get six responses to a NUVO column in six hours. Well, thanks for playing, guys. I hear somebody wrote something bad about Jesus in some Minnesota rag. Go get'em.
I do not think that Ted Cruz lost any Texas votes and I am glade that I voted for him.
What is this Utah?! They do the same thing. Makes no sense.
No doubt they are trying to brain wash the public with fraudulent poll results, I guess they are trying to get their moneys worth! They have the best pollsters that money can buy!
I wonder why polls that Bloomberg paid for or made million dollar donations to came out the way the Bloomberg and his mayors support? Duh! The polls never came out the way everyone I know feels! With all the corruption with this administration from Gun Walker, Benghazi, IRS, Media and Voting fraud. I would bet that the polls go right along with the rest of the Illinois Mafioso bunch.
You guys notice how many liberals have been writing what is essentially the same article on many different news outlets?
I think they are all being fed their talking points from OFA or MAIG.
Funny, I've never come across this 90% study or poll...Let us do a new poll with just a few more questions. Some polling was done right after Newtown, which leads to skewed opinions.
After all we all want safer cars, I'm sure you could poll that at over 90%...but when you then tell them it would add 20% to the price of a new car, people will revisit their opinions.
Nice try Krull. What the Senators voted against wasn't a "a proposal calling for universal background checks to make sure that convicted criminals and people with mental illness couldn't buy deadly firearms." That proposal would have done nothing to prevent criminals from getting guns. It would only have handicapped law abiding citizens efforts to transfer guns. What the Senators ACTUALLY voted against was opening the gates and rolling in the Trojan Horse. The ONLY way to enforce universal background checks is if you know who owns every gun (else how would you know one had been transferred?). This ABSOLUTELY necessitates a national gun registry. THAT is what the Senators were voting against.
As for this comment "Almost all of the 45 U.S. senators who voted to do the NRA's bidding saw an immediate plunge in their public approval ratings.". Well let me give you another credible statistic, almost 100% of readers believe you are lying.
Awesome
Super proud and honored to have you guys as a part of this experience. We were so excited to watch your determination and perseveranece! We are really happy to read about the positive sides to the stress. Keep doing what you are doing to make Indy a better place!
Love,

"It's sad to me," Perez said. "How do I encourage kids graduating now? They just want to go to school. How bad can that be?"
Pay for it yourself. No one owes you anything, just as no one owes me anything. I can't expect, whatever the circumstances, the citizens of Mexico, Ireland, Guatemala, France, China, etc. to pay do anything for me or my family if just happen to randomly show up in their country. I am not their responsibility and they have every right to deport me.
If the policeman yanked you out of your car, that is an issue of the police state out of control, but you want the same people in charge of the police to take more money from the citizens of the U.S. and subsidize your parents illegal behavior. Yes, it is not your fault they dragged you across the border, but it is not my fault either. Put the blame where it properly belongs - on our fascist government and your similarly corrupt / tyrannical former homeland - and finally your parents.
You frankly are depending upon the corruptness of the American fascist state to give you want you want - a free pass - well nothing comes free, and you will understand that later in life.
There is also the issue of that pesky constitution. At its core, a request for donations for a cause, ANY cause, is free speech. How one makes these requests can be legislated, but only within certain legal parameters. From this article, it sounds like someone will not be able to simply hold a sign downtown. That's chilling.
The difference between a charitable group asking for money and a panhandler doing so, is the same. One of them is deemed undesirable and less powerful, and so the city is going to limit their rights. Do we have rights or is that all relative to one's economic and social status?
Directly asking for money is not extortion, especially as panhandling activity is currently legislated here. They are not using power and $$$ to manipulate legislation to favor their own interests. They also are not taking tax-payer money. You have the option to donate to them or not. It's one of the few non-manipulated economic endeavors around.
Let me apologize, Dear Readers, for jelled instead of gelled. It's quite embarrassing...we'll see if I can fix it. I even thought that little error through before hand, lol. Can I blame it on my love of Jello? How about lack of sleep? It is ugly. I'll try to keep mistakes like that to a minimum.
We are rooting for you, Procrastinators!! Stay strong, Stay positive, Stay awake!!
Love,
KNS
I'm dying to know how you guys are doing! Hope all is going well, GOOD LUCK!!!!
Love you guys

Gas taxes and wheel, plate, driver's license etc pays for
some 65% of roads and repairs.
Some 16% of that tax goes to mass transit.
Your welcome!!!!
High speed rail in Indy? What are you smoking. The
Acela high speed rail between NYC and Boston is where millions ! of people live and barely breaks even.
Get on the clue train. Geeeez
Look up critical mass and get on the clue bus.
A mega-bus is the best answer for now as it is flexible, much much cheaper, and not funded by the tax payer.
Quit trying to get tax payers to pay for your fantasies.
Dear Miss bus seat...now you know why everyone prefers cars.
You are on the bus alright...just not the clue bus.
Shoot drones down. Simple. It is not illegal.
You would need a crossbow or pellet rifle, since you it is
illegal to fire a gun in city limits...but...if you felt your
life was in danger....hmmmm.
Maybe drone buyers will find another hobby.
Shabazz is right on target. Indy is losing millions in lost revenue. Other charitable groups should have a tax id or some such identifier.
The lone panhandler is NOT in that group. Many are very aggressive in their approach and border on economic extortion not free speech.
And there are plenty of social agencies for those truly in need and should be supported.
The lone wolf panhandler often doesn't need/want help but just wants cash for drugs, booze, smokes or to support a free range lifestyle and just scam folks.
