I love Santorini Greek Kitchen, too!
But under the "Related Locations" the neighborhood should be Fountain Square, and the website is incorrect (should be santorini-greek-kitchen.com).
Thanks, I'll post some events on your page. Anyone can sign up to get notifications of when the Vegetarian and Vegan meetups occur through www.meetup.com/indyveggie.
I'll also contact the food editor...there are several cool things coming up that I think you guys would be interested in covering!
Hi, all! Thanks for posting. Of course, we can't don't have a say in who the people vote for -- and they love Yats! Joel, I'm interested in this meetup schedule. Feel free to add it to our online calendar at nuvo.net/event and reach out to our food editor at firstname.lastname@example.org. We're always looking for cool new food events.
I'm sorry but yats? The sinking ship has an amazing vegan menu and there vegan meat ball sub is better than anything on yats menu vegan or not. I would have to agree though SoBro would be #1 on my list.
^^^Exactly what Joel said. I don't think any actual vegans or vegetarians voted on this poll.
You've got to be kidding! Yats used to be one of the best places, but only because they were one of the ONLY places to get vegetarian food. Today, however, is a different story. Many times they only have 3 vegetarian options on the menu, and usually only ONE vegan option. I run the Indianapolis Vegetarian and Vegan Meetup Group (www.meetup.com/indyveggie) and I quite literally know nearly 1,000 people who would like to see Yats be much more vegan friendly. Our group has had over 50 get-togethers so far in 2013, and we have not gone to Yats even once, because they just aren't doing as well as other restaurants in offering vegan options.
I would love to work with them to get some more things on the menu so they would actually deserve this title. They can email me at email@example.com.
In the meantime, I am going to continue recommending a lot of places other than Yats to my vegan group. SoBro Cafe is setting the standard in Indy right now for the vegetarian and vegan community, even having ALL VEGAN nights. So does Spice Nation. So does Thai Taste. Duos Kitchen (#3 on the list) also does a great job. Yats needs to up their game if they want to keep up. I would also add that Three Sisters could do a little better as well. They are very vegetarian friendly, but not so much vegan-friendly.
2nd West Coast Tacos is not even on the road. give a spot to a deserving truck???
Scotty's is the place! Good food fun times and great service. Ask for Matt the waiter extraordinaire...

Nice blog here! Thank you for the good write up.
Architect Michael Conly, now a principal at Architura Corporation located on Monument Circle in Indianapolis, had a vision when he created this beautiful campus. Most people don't realize that there is an underground finger-system of tunnels and parking connecting The Indiana State Museum, The Eiteljorg Museum and The IMAX Theater. Recently I spoke with Guy Johnson of Executive Media Communications Consultants, Inc. When he discovered that Michael Conly was the architect his immediate comment was, "That was a beautiful piece of work". Mike wanted the beautiful architecture and landscape of the surrounding campus to be a focus instead of a sea of parking lots and cars. It takes a very talented architect to have pulled this off so beautifully. If you would like to speak with Mike about an upcoming project you have in mind he can be reached at 317-348-1000 or firstname.lastname@example.org
