Architect Michael Conly, now a principal at Architura Corporation located on Monument Circle in Indianapolis, had a vision when he created this beautiful campus. Most people don't realize that there is an underground finger-system of tunnels and parking connecting The Indiana State Museum, The Eiteljorg Museum and The IMAX Theater. Recently I spoke with Guy Johnson of Executive Media Communications Consultants, Inc. When he discovered that Michael Conly was the architect his immediate comment was, "That was a beautiful piece of work". Mike wanted the beautiful architecture and landscape of the surrounding campus to be a focus instead of a sea of parking lots and cars. It takes a very talented architect to have pulled this off so beautifully. Many people don't realize that there is a whole under ground system of parking structures and finger systems that connect the Indiana State Museum, Eitlegorg Museum and the IMAX Theater. When you drive by you don't see a field of parking lots and cars, but only the beautifully buildings and landscaped campus that was designed by this talented architect.
