We went to Bartini's for my bachelorette party this past Saturday. The bouncer, aka jerk in a suit, was beyond rude. He told my cousin she needed a boob job. We overlooked his welcoming and continued to make our way in. The bartender on the "club" side was amazing and very friendly. The DJ (who is a family friend) did a great job and if it weren't for him we wouldn't have proceeded to stay after our ordeal with Jerk in a Suit outside on our way in. We had a blow up midget doll that we carried with us all night as part of our BACHELORETTE PARTY entourage and had random people sign it. "Midge" the blow up doll was a HUGE hit. Apparently one of the trash guys or maybe a bouncer didn't like the idea of Midge and grabbed my cousin by her arm and pulled her outside and kept the doll. We had the IMPD officer go inside to retrieve the doll before we made our way home. When the officer found the doll he had been sliced multiple times and and was completely mutilated by this guy. NEVER will we return to this place and I will urge friends and anyone else I can reach to stay away from this place too. The workers are completely unprofessional, rude and obviously very aggressive. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It scares me to think that employees are allowed to behave this way towards women without any consequences.
Shots are Flat. Crema short lived...
-Owner is beyond rude and unprofessional
-I will NEVER go there again and do NOT recommend this place
-They mess up reservations and lie (if they can fill your table they will)
If I could give 0 stars I would.
I was taking a group there as part of a bachelorette party... Made the reservation a month ahead of time, called yesterday to confirm it... when we were at the wine tasting it was taking longer than I thought so I called and spoke with a woman who was very nice and I asked if it would be a problem to push back the reservation... she asked what time I was thinking and I said 7:50 or so because we are running late.. she said no problem. We get there at 8 and the place is 100% full and I say we had a reservation and I called to tell them we were running late... we wait for like 10 minutes and finally the owner comes to talk to me and immediately is rude saying, "We are full... it's a Sat. night and you are over 45 minutes late so I don't know what you were expecting.." and I explained that I had called and spoke to a woman to change the reservation and she said no problem... and he said no I spoke with him on the phone and he's the owner (sorry but this deep voice was 100% not who I spoke with) and he said you called and talked to me and said you'd be a FEW minutes late and it's way past a few minutes and I said uhm, no I called and spoke with a woman who asked me SPECIFICALLY what time I would be there and I told her 7:50 or so.. and he kept arguing and clearly was not the person I spoke with so he was just lying and be incredibly rude. I know that it was not time I spoke with and I'm right in this situation, but even if I wasn't, that is NOT how you have that conversation with a customer. So then he said you'll have to wait 45 minutes until we get it figured out and I turned to the girls and said let's go somewhere else and he gets an attitude and is like, you might as well stay and wait here because you have to wait wherever you go and I looked at him and said I honestly don't care how long I wait, you are not getting my business after this and then instead of apologizing or being professional he literally just says whatever and runs back up the stairs. SO UNPROFESSIONAL.
you're pretty Chris, don't let anyone tell you different.
The pizza we got for carry out was like eating a salt shaker!!!!!!!!!!! And I like salt. My rating is just for pizza.
could use some structure. seems like nobody know what they are doing.
What time does it start?
Terrible Service. Good food. Last night was a special occasion - my granddaughter's birthday, dinner for eight. Had to stop food server to ask for: an 8th appetizer plate (which took much too long to get), refills on water (did not come by even one time to refill), no spoon in one of the three appetizer bowls. Our entrees came less than 3 minutes after receiving our salads to the dismay of all of us. Everyone liked their meals: the Ahi Tuna was great as were the Scallops w/Risotta (but only 6 extremely small pieces of asparagus even though the entree title included asparagus). Asked the food server if the salad dressings were made on sight and told yes but none of the three different ones were anything special. The worst part of the meal was the timing on the entrees being served and is something that should never happen anywhere, anytime. Just too many things wrong with the service. Hope they read their reviews.
Wine and Canvas Studio has a new location, 3969 E 82nd St
Indianapolis, IN 46240. The new location is just about two blocks east of the old location. FYI
Many great options. Always a great time.
The above review by Jane Mc is totally inaccurate and offensive to me as the owner of Addendum. We have a solid reputation built on 10 years of providing exceptional customer service and amazing merchandise. We are not in the business of needing to scam people out of a dollar here and there, this was never brought to my attention and I believe this to be a fraudulent review. Our legions of loyal customers can vouch for our integrity and honesty.
Late Harvest Kitchen has the best food and a great eating experience, all their staff is great !
This letter is to inform you that this bar Bubbaz Bar and Grill on 10030 E. Washington st Indianapolis, IN 46229 is selling counterfeit liquor to the public. In particular the top shelf liquors such as Absolut and Grey Goose vodkas are counterfeit. I patronized this establishment on two occasions May 7th 2013 and May 9th 2013 and ordered both drinks. What I discovered was that both drinks were not the drink that was on the bottle label. After drinking these counterfeit liquors I became ill the next day. I am hoping to bring awareness to this matter so that no one else will defrauded by this establishment.

Cheese Louise minus the onion plus bacon. Perfection.
Great live music tonight and every Tuesday. Sometimes on the patio. Have a coffee or bring wine. Pet and kid friendly.
This place is absolutely amazing. I was very impressed with the entire operation. It is well worth a visit and I plan on going back regularly!
Where do I begin? ... i guess I'll talk about one thing at a time ... the management/personnel .... (lack of) autonomy for your own wedding ... cookie cutter facilities that make every wedding there very similar (although a nice facility) ..... a business that cares only about the bottom line and not their clients.
#1) Antonia: this is your wedding planner from your worst nightmare that you cannot get rid of. She not only is hostile to even the bride/groom and family, but she will try to take over and dictate how the wedding will go. Abrasive personality that will run your wedding like a business event. Not very bright, not very professional, but acts surprisingly haughty regardless
#2) Lighting and the facility is great I have to admit. This is what attracted us to the place in the first place. However, have you seen any pictures from two different weddings taken at the indiana roof? Well .... no need, you've seen one wedding there, then you've seen them all. Every single wedding at the facility looks exactly the same. I mean .... it's still nice at the end of the day, if you don't mind the internet or your indy facebook friends posting pics of a wedding that has the very same look and feel regardless of the amount of time you've spent making it your own (best you could do given #1 above) ... but it will still not be unique.
#3) So a little more than half way through the planning, we had enough. Could not take all the ridiculous restrictions this place has! They abuse the fact that there aren't many venues in indianapolis downtown that can host a big party. Thankfully some new places have come up recently to compete and.... maybe improve the professionalism and people friendliness ... that indiana roof feels is unnecessary given luxury of the lack of competition. Antonia, at this point tried to swindle much more money than the contract would entitle them. Most places would even nullify the contract fees if they were to find a replacement party. Roof however would like to replace you and take as much money from the initial client as possible. I promised to pay all the fair losses from the contract, however she (apparently with little legal suave/moral sense) attempted to make ridiculous claims that their formal written contract could not support.
#4) back to antonia ... I just can't understand how a person with such little business-social etiquette for this industry could function as their face? I guess because given the lack of competition, Roof cares about the bottom line and will sell their souls for every penny. This was not only frustrating/insulting but really just disappointing and outrageous .... leading me to write such a thorough and critical review. Especially since every review I've ever written online is only to praise a facility. This was a review that was overdue but felt necessary to warn other locals to STAY AWAY. now if you wan a easy fix where you do not mind everything looking very much structured and don't have much of your own style to incorporate .... and don't mind being passive to such a facility .... you can still have a nice facility to entertain your guests with less work on your part. You will just have to sacrifice originality, pride, money and support a corrupt establishment .... IMO. End of the day, it's about the people at a party than anything else .... but I'd rather take my people elsewhere. good luck
