An eclectic salute to the 3-year-old downtown newsletter (and the downtown neighborhoods it covers). In Gallery One, Craig McCormick’s photographs lead us to “a visual study of ‘economic entropy,’” thus turning our attention to the turnings that occur to a particular place over a period of time. In static front and center pose of buildings the aesthetic starkness jars sensibility. Lori Miles’ sculptures of buildings thrust us into urban in-between spaces, unexpectedly askew or in-your-face.
