Pregnant women, nursing mothers, and children are invited. May 14, 10 a.m. (use Community Room entrance on the south side of the building). Discussion topics include the advantages of breastfeeding, the family and the breastfed baby, the new baby in your life, becoming a mother, why breast is best, baby’s changing needs, avoiding difficulties, nutrition and weaning, and breastfeeding questions mothers ask. La Leche League offers mother-to-mother support and information about breastfeeding. A lending library of books on childbirth, breastfeeding, parenting and nutrition will be available.
