Sunday night theater kicks my butt

I don't drink coffee. It smells bad and tastes like bitter, burnt herbs. Today, I am drinking coffee.

In the midst of 2 home improvement projects and preparing for my final in REL 133, I had to go to "Expecting Isabel" at Theatre on the Square Friday night, storytelling (which you will not find a review of, because my friend Richard and I left at intermission because it was soooooo boring) Saturday night and "A Funeral for Eve" back at TOTS Sunday at 6 p.m. I missed the TOTS fund-raiser because I simply had too much to do, and a quick stop at Mendards on Sunday turned into a 2.5 hour odyssey to find a list of five items on sale. Menards sucks.

In any case, I am a wreck, because one of the projects has required my bed to hold the contents of my closet, therefore Robert and I are sleeping in the guest room, the bed of which has the mattess from hell. I have throw pillows shoved under it in the middle to try to alleviate some of the bow. And Robert's cat, Merlin, is locked in the guest room. He is grounded after disappearing in the house for 24 hours. He and my cat, Nermil, haven't adjusted to each other yet, so there is yet another project that needs my attention.

This week is just as bad. Belly dance classes are over and I haven't found another teacher yet, but Irish step dance starts Wednesday, then I will be at Beef & Boards Thursday, Phoenix Friday and NoExit at the Wheeler on Saturday to cap off the weekend. Final for my class is May 1. Plus, I am taping an "Across Indiana" segment April 18, have my parents coming for my birthday April 22, birthday party April 23, Beltaine celebration April 28, more storytelling April 29 and then an all-day belly dance workshop in Bloomington April 30.

Someone clone me.
