Geekdom to a New Century

So I was conversing with my friend Paul Pogue via e-mail this morning (since the FileMaker server decided to take a nap) because he commented on his agreement on "MirrorMask" being the best movie ever (see previous entry).

In any case, I told him I should use a comment in my blog, so in order to prove once and for all to all my readers just what I geek I am, I have pasted my response e-mail below:

What a fantasic idea: "Labrinth 2"!

I LOVE MirrorMask sooo much because it was this decade's Labyrinth. I can bring my geekdom into the 21st century. Hey, I might have to use that line on my blog ...

Got your message last night. Was being a big ass shlub. Skipped dance class and played Lord of the Rings Monopoly with my b-friend. (Wow. This is really getting to be geek central here. )

(end snip)

As we were discussing the merits if Labrinth, Jim Henson and the fact that I skipped belly dance class in order to play LOTR Monopoly, my own little world came into sharp focus. Methinks it is time to start attending GenCon.
