Jeff Padgett has a unique, fresh and lively sound that has developed over the years playing as a professional musician. Jeff has been playing music since he was 6 and first picked up a guitar in high school. He was immediately in love with the instrument. Jeff went on to study guitar in college. He studied both classical and jazz. He found many opportunities to play music professionally while in college. As a freshman he quickly put together a trio and played in a local restaurant every week. By his Junior year he was gigging on both bass and guitar, on average five nights a week, while keeping up with school and teaching private lessons. His senior year, he got the opportunity to tour Europe with the Big Band. They played at several jazz festivals including the Montreux Jazz Festival and North Sea Jazz Festival. Since college Jeff has worked as a freelance musician playing with a variety of musical groups, ranging from blues to rock and back to his base, jazz.
