BIO: Rising from the ashes of a forsaken Indiana cornfield comes a blend of metal, blues, and rock that is unmatched in versatility, dynamics, and originality. Hard rock grooves layered over pounding rhythms gives Falling Theory a sound that is proven to stand the test of time.
Their journey begins in late 2005, formed by Jeremy Clifton and Jay Williams after discussing the current music scene surrounding them while the tattoo machines hummed away in the background at Lucky Rabbit Tattoo studio where Jay works and Jeremy had been a frequent customer. Jeremy and Jeff Nellans had been friends through the BSU School of Music and had collaborated on projects in the past. Jeremy knew that Jeff was the only bass player imaginable for "the sound". The three started writing immediately, exploring complex rhythms and time changes. They soon sought a drummer that would complement their sound, and after the first two had spontaneously combusted they almost gave up on being a four piece act and started working out their Power Trio routine. Enter Jeremy Jennings, a seasoned bass player from one of Indianapolis' hardest working cover acts, The Smileys. Jennings had also played drums, among other instruments, in other bands over the last 10 years and was well received by the rest of the crew.
Based in Central Indiana, Falling Theory writes music that is more than just background noise. The Indiana boys love dishing out hard rock grooves that produce an intensity and feeling that is hard to find in todays music. Always maintaining a strong focus on their live performances which capture and move their audiences, Falling Theory feels perfectly at home on any stage, be it a small intimate club or an arena in any city.
