BIO: The Warner Gear formed in the summer of 2005 with the goal of blending
roots, folk, alternative country, and bluegrass into one.
Singer/songwriter Gwen Noel took a drastic departure from punk rock and,
along with Wayne Mehl and Paul Williams, wrote songs that would tip
their hats to the likes of Hank Williams, Gillian Welch and Townes Van
Zant, among others. While some acts have prided themselves in coming
"down from the mountain", The Warner Gear is starting a steep journey
the other way.
