You Don't Mess with the Zohan
2.5 stars (PG-13) Adam Sandler
Newly-buff Adam Sandler stars as Zohan, an Israeli commando who fakes his own death in order to pursue his dream of becoming a hairdresser in New York City. The typically crude story is good natured, dumb and easy to watch, but not as funny as most Sandler comedies. John Turturro, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Nick Swardson, Lainie Kazan and Dave Matthews costar along with — surprise! — Rob Schneider. 113 minutes. DVD INFO: The unrated two-disc edition includes a commentary track with Sandler, Swardson, Schneider and Robert Smigel, a commentary track with director Dennis Dugan, deleted scenes and 10 featurettes.
