Yodel-GHDT, that's who!
Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre has taken its audience on imaginary jaunts to Italy, France and the Orient. This year, GHDT tilts its collective cap toward Bavaria for this fund-raiser concert to support its work.
GHDT will turn a black box theater into an Alpine ski lodge for a sequence of humorous and dramatic pieces, including German cabaret dances, adaptations of Sound of Music classics, fairy tales from the Brothers Grimm and Strauss waltzes.
Performances of Yodel-Ey-Hee-Hoo are Feb. 8-9, 15 and 22-23 at 7:30 p.m. and Feb. 10, 17 and 24 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $35 and include concert, snacks and beverages. Reservations required; call 317-846-2441. Performances are at The Performer’s Edge, 12955 Old Meridian St. in Carmel.
