Known as “Indiana’s Nicest Day,” the Penrod Arts Fair is an anticipated annual event held on the grounds of the Indianapolis Museum of Art. It is one of the largest single-day art fairs in the United States, and features 300-plus artists in addition to six stages of entertainment, more than 50 arts-related nonprofit organizations, an extensive children’s area and lots of food and beverage.

The event is Sept. 6, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 day of show; kids 10 and under are free. For more information, go to www.penrod.org.
