Writing and art at Herron

Coming to Light is a multimedia exhibition featuring writing by 175 Indiana children with visual interpretations by six of the city’s top artists: Vance Farrow, Elizabeth Guipe Hall, Susan Hodgin, Josh Johnson, William A. Rasdell and Artur Silva. The writers are children from grades K-eight who participated in workshops under the auspices of the Indiana Partnership for Young Writers. The opening reception takes place in Herron’s Marsh Gallery March 7 from 5-8 p.m. Admission is free. The Herron School of Art and Design is located at 735 W. New York St. on the campus of IUPUI.
