What is YOUR solution
by Letter to the Editor Jul 18, 2007

Of course no one likes to pay more for anything! Nothing! If people will threaten to leave America because stamps go up $0.02 then of course people will complain about paying more in property and payroll taxes (Hoppe, “Peterson Bites the Bullet,” July 4-11). My question is ... what is YOUR solution? Everyone is paying more property taxes and everyone will pay more payroll tax, but if that’s what it takes to get rid of this crime, then that’s what has to be done! Focus on a way to keep your community safer and worry less about paying .65 percent in payroll tax.
