Web exclusive: Carmel Gallery Walk

The fourth Carmel Gallery Walk will be held from 5-10 p.m. in the Carmel Arts & Design District (blocks surrounding intersection of Rangeline and Main streets) on Saturday, July 12. The Evan Lurie Gallery will feature the paintings of Stephanie Gardner, Mike Madzo, Richard Currier and the mind-bending surrealist work of Jorge Santos, who appears in the cover story of the August edition of "Art Collector Magazine." The Frazier Petee Gallery will exhibit harbor landscapes of New England and Nova Scotia. The Art & Soul Gallery will feature the figurative work of Leah Devero and the bright impressionist landscapes of Sarah Larson. The seventh streetside sculpture by J. Seward Johnson will be unveiled in front of ccHome, located at 21 S. Rangeline Road. The eight participating galleries will be serving free refreshments, and the Mystery Company Bookstore will host authors Michael A. Black and Julie Hyzy, who will sign copies of their books.
