Valentine's Day Art Walk in Carmel
by Editors Feb 13, 2008

Feb. 14, 6-10 p.m., a Valentine’s Day Art Walk will be held in Carmel’s Arts & Design District (the several blocks surrounding the intersection of Main Street and Rangeline). This open house is designed to showcase the district’s increasingly diverse gallery offerings. Wine, cheese and other refreshments will be served in the eight participating galleries.

“Valentine’s Day is always a good night for everybody to be out so we’re optimistic that there will be a good turnout,” said Wesley Dwyer, owner of the Art & Soul Gallery, located at 1 S. Rangeline. The Carmel Arts & Design District Gallery Owner’s Association, he says, will sponsor six art walks per year (at press time the remainder of walks for 2008 had yet to be scheduled). The inaugural Art Walk took place Nov. 17, 2007.
