Thumbsdown: Hog farm
by Editors Oct 3, 2007
Welcome to the Third World. IDEM is considering a proposal to build an 8,000-hog swine farm, or “concentrated animal feeding operation,” near Marion, about 60 miles northeast of Indianapolis. Hogs!

We have lost every shot we have had at reviving our economy over the last 3 decades due to a lack of skilled workforce and a completely incompitent public administration, Marion needs this farm. Cut us some slack. Everyone loves bacon!!!

Thanks for the Cash flow

As a Grant county native now living in Indy...take it from me, the are needs any development they can get. It is now a town half its size 20 years ago and is reduced to being governed by uneducated, small minded, Ostriches. After repeatedly pissing away opportunity after opportunity for economic development...the powers that be in Marion finally accept a bone.

Hurray for green-based economic development
by Xen | Oct 3, 2007
I'm thrilled to hear that the economically destitued county of rant is getting some agricultural development. It will provide desperately needed jobs, cash flow for the surrounding community, and help the environment by providing fertilizer to help produce rich crops. GREAT JOB MITCH!!! ANOTHER DEED WELL DONE!!!
