The 32 team owners of the NFL voted late Tuesday afternoon to name Indianapolis the host city for the 2012 Super Bowl. After two failed attempts, city officials managed to sell the Indianapolis as the perfect location for more than 250,000 football fans to gather in late January of 2012 for the big game. It’s good news and a big relief for those who sold the idea and expense of the Lucas Oil Stadium to the city. Experts predict Indianapolis could see more than $350 million in revenue from hosting the event.
