If there’s one thing any self-discerning rock fan can appreciate, it’s a trashy, dirty, no-holds-barred party band. The kind of band that plays faster and louder the drunker they get and whose only thought about the future is the hope that the money they make from the gig covers the bar tab. Indy’s premier party band The WhiskeyTits has been wowing audiences for over a year now.

“The best part about being in The WhiskeyTits is not giving a shit about anything and having everything pan out better than bands where I actually cared,” guitarist Bill Pelon says. “We don’t stress about shit, don’t care where we play, what we do, when we record. No stress, just kickin’ it with my buddies.”

On a recent bill at Radio Radio with Creepin’ Charley and Mandy Marie, the band spent most of the time in their van, seemingly uncomfortable interacting with fans outside their normal circles. Yet when they came on stage, they rocked every ass in the place and walked out with more than a few new fans.

Lead throat Nate Olp and lead guitarist Jared Southwick are the main attractions, making for a pure dynamo duo that chews up the audience and spits them out.

“We’re not doing anything that hasn’t been done before and we know that, but every show we play has been an amazingly good time,” bassist Bob Peele says. “Our friends and fans come out and put their party face on and just rage and have a good time with us.”
