You Are There: 1945 Hoosier Home Front takes visitors back in time to Jan. 20, 1945, through a faithful recreation of the Citizens Market of Terre Haute, Ind. Costumed interpreters share details of everyday life at the end of World War II. Hoosier Home Front opens at the Indiana History Center April 16 and runs through Dec. 31. It’s free. Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays. The History Center is located at 450 W. Ohio St. Call 317-232-1882 or go to www.indianahistory.org for information.
