Four stars
Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra Northwest Airlines Pops; Hilbert Circle Theatre; May 2-4

A thoroughly engaged audience had the best time with the Chapter 6 vocal ensemble and vocalists Farah Alvin, N’Kenge and Anne Beck groovin’ along with brightly clad ISO players. Jack Everly’s program took us along high and low roads traversed by the “ME” generation, including signature TV and movie music theme songs: remember The Brady Bunch, The Jeffersons, MASH and the Muppet Show, Jaws, Rocky, The Godfather; and the groups with moves and platform shoes: ABBA, Bee Gees, Carpenters; the enduring songs by Sir Elton; the musicals: CATS, My Fair Lady, etc. Special mention is due Clare Henkel for amazing costumes, Jen Ladner for zippy choreography, Laura Schnyder for lighting, David Levy for staging.
