Christ Church Cathedral Women will host the 42nd Annual Strawberry Festival on Monument Circle June 14 from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.

About 50 volunteers serve 18,000 shortcakes and 6 tons of strawberries to thousands during the cathedral’s largest annual event. Festival-goers may order any combination of strawberries, shortcake, ice cream and whipped cream, with “the works” selling for $6 and individual toppings selling for $2 each.

Various entertainers will perform on the north side of the Circle beginning at 11 a.m. While most serving lines are outside, large orders will be filled in the cathedral basement beginning at 8:30 a.m. Call-ahead orders will not be available. In case of rain, the event will be held June 15.

Christ Church Cathedral Women grants more than 95 percent of the proceeds to local, national and international community outreach programs.
