Stark conducts

The Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra and the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir join forces April 19 to perform Gabriel Faure’s Requiem and Bach’s Cantata No. 106, two works that celebrate life over death. Eric Stark, the ISC’s artistic director, will conduct. Faure’s Requiem has proven itself an audience favorite and may be the most performed choral work in America. The concert begins at 8 p.m. at the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, 1347 N. Meridian St. Tickets are $20: 940-9057, www.indychoir.org
