While site-specific performances have been catching on in cities from New York to London, Susurrus, the performance group led by Melli Hoppe, has been presenting this artform in Indianapolis for over a decade, staging works in places like the catacombs under City Market, Crown Hill Cemetery and along the Central Canal.

June 28, Susurrus presents Bi-Quad at the Indianapolis Museum of Art Amphitheatre, an original work created in response to the exhibition Nature Holds My Camera by Sam Easterson. Bi-Quad investigates the marvels of non-verbal communication, energy and intuition.

The performance begins at 8 p.m. The audience is encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for sitting. Admission is free for museum members, $3 for nonmembers. There will be a rain date on June 30 at 8 p.m., if necessary.
