Shakespeare meets Frank Lloyd Wright
by Editors May 30, 2007

Here’s an out-of-town treat: Project IN Motion’s performance of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream on the grounds of Frank Lloyd Wright’s SAMARA, a Usonian house designed by the great architect and located at 1301 Woodland Ave. in West Lafayette.

The performance, which takes place June 2 at 7:30 p.m. and June 3 at 2:30 p.m., will include a number of actors who have come from New York City to participate in a production that promises “flying” fairies who dance in fabric hanging from trees and live music floating from the garden.

SAMARA will be open for guided tours before the performance, starting at 6 p.m. on Saturday and at 1 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $25. For ticket and event information contact Linda Eales at 765-743-4009. For production information, call Project IN Motion at 317-374-1787 or visit their Web page at www.Projectinmotion.com.
