Rural beauty at UIndy

Breaking Ground, an exhibition of 21 images by photographer Susan Fleck, explores the overlooked beauty of rural life in Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Montana, Washington ... and Norway. The show opens March 24 at the University of Indianapolis’ Christel DeHaan Fine Arts Gallery, 1400 E. Hanna Ave. Fleck will be in attendance at an opening reception March 28, 6-8 p.m., and the show continues through May 9. Info: 317-788-3251, http://arts.uindy.edu.
