Reynolds and Roddick run the court
by RCA Tennis Jul 12, 2006

Tennis balls weren’t the only things served up fast this evening by Bobby Reynolds and Andy Roddick. The Americans also made Jeff Coetzee and Dominik Hrbaty’s loss seem quick and easy. Reynolds and Roddick secured a win in the first two sets with scores of 6-4, 6-4.

Reynolds and Roddick certainly had the crowd supporting them as well. Periodic shouts for “Andy” seemed to be intended to keep him in good spirits, especially when he tossed his racquet after a bad play. He later made up for it with the winning serve. Reynolds celebrated more than a win today. Roddick led the crowd in a rendition of “Happy Birthday” in honor of Reynolds’ 24th birthday.

This was the first time Reynolds and Roddick played together.
