Really boring footage
by Letter to the Editor Sep 6, 2006

Was your review on By the People (Film, Aug. 23-30) softer because it was an Indiana filmmaker? And a good looking one I might say. I thought the film was stale and bland. It was like following around a person who had a really hard job for two days of really boring footage. I know that it was trying to prove a point about how over-worked the voting committee is and its workers but, man, the Wal-Mart deli worker is usually pretty over-worked and so is the BMV lady at about 5 p.m. as well as the bank teller lady on Friday afternoon. I just thought the show sucked and I was mad at you for giving it such a good review. You aren’t wrong a lot, but I disagree with you on this film. Keep up the good work though. I enjoy reading you.
