Three and a half stars
Christian hardcore metal band Haste the Day successfully blends screaming, singing and driving rhythms on their album, Pressure the Hinges. The Indiana-based band’s new frontman, Steven Keech, who graduated from high school in 2006, has an impressive voice. Although some of the songs sound similar, well-constructed arrangements and introspective lyrics prevail.
