Midwest Fashion Week Show
The Marott
Sept. 28

You can certainly hand it to Catou Couture’s Berny Martin: He knows how to throw an event. After a wild week of festivities for Midwest Fashion Week, he assembled a blowout fashion show at the Marott that summed up the best of what the city has to offer. Who knew we had such an active and vibrant fashion design scene to be able to support a two-hour event with 300 attendees? (Answer: At least 300 knew, apparently!)

Almost as interesting as the fashions on display at such a show are seeing what the audience is wearing — the latest tastes of the crowd on the bleeding edge. From urban chic to perfectly tailored suits, not to mention a 10-year-old kid with a leather jacket Shaft would kill for, fashion lives.
